Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to work with our field teams to ensure our fabricated components arrive as scheduled and meet the needs of our projects. The Site Manager will play a crucial role in communicating and overseeing these aspects with excellence and professionalism.  This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, and budgets, while also ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the fabrication and delivery of components to the project sites. The ideal Site Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of steel fabrication and construction methods and best practices, as well as hands-on experience in project management within the construction industry. With a focus on delivering fabricated components to projects on time and within budget, the Site Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and maintaining a positive tea environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely material delivery and manage schedules after the project is started and ensure material meets the committed onsite dates.
  • Communicate changes and send updated schedules during construction.
  • Conduct regular check points with fabrication managers and communicate fabrication status to the field/PM team.
  • Conduct onsite misfab inspections and facilitate replacing missing or damaged parts.
  • Conduct regular “random” material inspections onsite to ensure material meets BZI Standards and drawings specifications.
  • Document and distribute missing part reports, left to load reports, and sequence delivery completion via model view.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on-site.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to remain within financial limits.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to ensure high standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Training

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of steel construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields.

Position Location: This position will be stationed in Cedar City, Utah. Some travel will be required.

Salary Range:  Depends on experience.
