Description:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Multimedia Producer to join our team in producing high-quality podcasts and multimedia content. This entry-level role is perfect for a beginner passionate about audio-visual production, offering hands-on experience in podcast coordination, camera operation, studio management, and video editing. You'll support the full production lifecycle for video podcasts, social media clips, and related content, primarily using Adobe Premiere for post-production. If you're eager to learn, detail-oriented, and excited about storytelling through media, this position provides an excellent opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Podcast Coordination: Assist in scheduling episodes, booking guests, and managing logistics such as script preparation, show notes, and outreach to contributors.
  • Camera Operation: Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during recordings and shoots for video podcasts or promotional content.
  • Studio Management: Oversee daily studio operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and setup/teardown for sessions.
  • Post-Production Editing: Edit video and audio content using Adobe Premiere, exporting final files for platforms like YouTube, Spotify, or social media.
  • General Support: Assist with research, content ideation, and distribution tasks. Perform quality checks on final outputs, manage project timelines, and contribute to team brainstorming sessions.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions to build skills in multimedia tools and production techniques, with opportunities for feedback and mentorship.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience or relevant certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified in Premiere) considered.
  • 0-2 years of experience in media production, podcasting, or video editing. Internships, freelance work, or personal projects in podcast or video creation are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for video editing; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Audition for audio, Photoshop for graphics) is advantageous.
    • Basic knowledge of camera operation, audio recording, and lighting setups.
    • Comfort with studio equipment management and troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, and teamwork. Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment, with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
  • Other: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for live recordings.
  • Experience with podcast platforms (e.g., Riverside, Anchor) or video hosting services.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, social media trends, and audience analytics for content optimization.
  • A portfolio showcasing video edits, podcast samples, or production work.
